One Hundred Horror Movies

Over the course of the last month or so I have been watching Donnie from PSVG start publicly counting down to 100 horror movies watched for the year.  I've really been enjoying it and then the October DLC dropped where he and a couple others waxed poetic about horror movies for nearly 3 hours.

I love horror movies, it might be my favorite genre of movie in general, but I haven't been watching very many of them lately and I mostly blame in on the kids even though I do realize that I just haven't been making time for them.

Now that my kids are getting older and I'm starting to feel like I have time to work other things into my normal routine (you know, like Playing Video Games which is one of my favorite hobbies of all time) I have decided that it is now time for me to make time for other things that I love.  Horror movies top that list.

So, with that, I have decided that I will give myself a 100 Horror Movie challenge in homage to Donnie, since I stole it from him.

I have no true plans for which movies I will be watching but I will look for the best movies of the last few years and add them to my want to watch list.  I know I'm going to throw in a bunch of old classics as well.

I have subscriptions to Hulu, Netflix, Amazon Prime and just signed up for a trial on Shudder.  So, if you have suggestions of what I should watch and they are available on one of those services then please leave me a comment and I'll add them to my list.

While I am keeping a private list for myself I do plan on doing a blog post after every 5 or so movies and to give some basic general thoughts on the movies I watched and how I felt about them.

I hope you all enjoy coming along on this ride with me and, as previously stated, I'd love if you let me know some of your favorites so I can watch them.
